Service Alerts for Route 19

• Effective Wednesday, August 4, 2010 there will be a detour at the intersection of 20th and Woods due the installation of a new water main. The Route 19 (20th Street trips only) will detour at the southern loop of the route as follows: South on 20th Street to Carrington Avenue, east to 19th Street, north on 19th Street to regular northbound route.

• Effective Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 the Route 19 will be detoured due to construction on 13th Street between Cleveland Avenue and Windlake Avenue. The detour will affect southbound routing only. Please see detour routing below:

  Southbound:

  Southeast on Windlake Avenue to 16th Street, south on 16th Street to Cleveland Avenue, east on Cleveland Avenue to 13th Street and south to regular routing.

  Passengers can board buses on 13th Street just north of Windlake Avenue or on Windlake Avenue and 16th Street. Signs will be posted at stops to reduce confusion.

• Effective June 8, 2010 Route 19 will be detoured due to construction. Northbound detour routing is as follows: Continue south on 13th Street to Waterford, east on Waterford to 6th Street, south on 6th Street to Layton Avenue, west on Layton Avenue to 13th, north on 13th to Van Norman, layover on 13th at Van Norman.
  
• Effective Tuesday, July 6, 2010 Routes 18 and 19 will be detoured due to construction on 2nd Street. Buses traveling both northbound and southbound will use 1st Street between National Avenue and Michigan Avenue. Signs will be posted at affected stops to reduce confusion.

• UPDATED: Effective Monday, July 12, 2010 the Route 19 will now be detoured in both directions due to construction on Keefe and Atkinson Avenues. Updated detour routing is as follows:

  NORTHBOUND: Continue north on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive to Concordia, west on Concordia, north on freeway
  ramp/access road ( 7th Street), northwest on Atkinson, and to regular routing.
  SOUTHBOUND: Southeast on Atkinson to 7th, north to Green Bay/Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, and south to regular route.
